新車組 Signature Tram Team

I wandered over to the Signature Tram Team to see how the work on the new fleet was coming along. Since 2012 the company has been developing aluminium‑alloy trams — much lighter, and designed to run more smoothly.
There I met another sifu (master). He originally worked in the Machining Team, but when the company set up this new department to build the latest trams, he made the switch, and he’s been here for about ten years now. He first joined the company in his forties, and in total he’s worked here for thirty‑five years — already past retirement age.
He thinks that whatever the department or position, everyone has to do their part properly for the whole company to run smoothly. Responsibility, he said, is what matters most.

我走咗去新車組嗰邊，想知佢哋整新電車嘅進展如何。電車公司由2012年開始，研發鋁合金電車。新車會輕身好多，行起來更加順。
我喺新車組遇到另一位師傅。佢本身係機械零件加工組嘅員工，想當年因為公司決定成立新部門研發新電車，於是轉過嚟呢邊，做咗已經大概有十年。佢四十幾歲入行，總共喺公司做咗三十五年，宜家已經過咗退休年齡。
佢覺得無論咩部門、咩崗位，人人都應該盡力做好自己嗰份，成間公司先至可以順利運作落去——責任先至最緊要。
